In the line of research about black in sculptural art, begun in 1993, Atelier 34zero Muzeum invites Polish artist Marek Kus for a solo exhibition of his work, which turns predominantly around this achromatic color.

During the exhibition at the Atelier 34zero Muzeum Marek Kus presents a series of drawings in graphite pencil. The technique of pencil allows a play of reflections in this otherwise absorbing black color and through the meticulous gesture underlines the obsessive aspect which Kus also applies to the human form. This figure is a simplification reduced to a sign. The essence of the work lies in this sign and the different declinations thereof.
